Day 1: Arrive in Dhaka and Explore nearby

On the first day of your trip, arrive in Dhaka (Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport), check into your hotel Near Motijheel or Firmgate, and freshen up. You can take the metro for faster and hassle-free transport. You can also take a cab from the airport to Motijheel.

Why I suggest this area is most of the popular spots in Dhaka are located here and the Kamalapur Railway station and Bus stop that connect the country are also located in this area.

If you arrive before noon, you can explore some popular historical spots like Lalbagh Fort and Ahsan Manzil. These two spots won’t take too long. But remember you will have to face heavy traffic. Take a Rikshaw to arrive at these spots.

Recommended Hotel in Dhaka: Asia Hotel & Resorts

In the evening you can visit Basundhara Shopping Mall for shopping and try traditional Bangladeshi cuisine like Biryani, or Kacchi Biryani. At night explore the street and connect with friendly locals.

If you finished the boat ride, take a CNG or car (if you were already hired) to Bholagonj Sada Pathor. After reaching here have your lunch or take with you to the main spot. You will also find something to buy and eat there.

Explore the area and take some photos of mountains, streams, and Stones. After strolling around, take a bath in the streams but be careful as the water force may flow you.
